This is the best way to measure your bed for a bedspread.
#1 - Measure the width first from welt to welt.
#2 - Measure the length of your mattress from welt to welt.
#3 - Measure the height from the top welt to the floor, and that measurement is called the drop. There is a drop measurement when ordering a dust skirt. If you will supply us with these three measurements we can determine the size bedspread, comforter, or dust skirt you need. Keep in mind that we do custom sizes for a small charge. Many mattresses today are over a 21" standard drop. If your dust skirt is over a 14" drop please give us that measurement when ordering. When ordering valances or drapes, determine the width you want to cover. The valance sizes listed, is the valance size when stretched out straight. When the valance is gathered on the rod it will cover half the width of the rod or about 50". Remember the returns to the wall are a part of the width of the rod. Order accordingly to how full you want it to look.

Eastern King 76 x 80 x 21 drop
Calif.. King 72 x 84 x 21 drop
Queen 60 x 80 x 21 drop
Full 54 x 75 x 21 drop
ex.long Full 54 x 80 x 21 drop
Twin 39 x 75 x 21 drop
ex.long Twin 39 x 80 x 21 drop
Two twins pushed together 78 x 75 x 21 drop
